O NORCHA® Adventure Race is a multi-sport event where mixed teams of 4 and/or 3 members must travel approximately 450-500 km in a maximum of 4 days non-stop.

Participants must meet the following requirements: - Be over 18 years old; - Be familiar with all disciplines involved, including the ability to swim 50m or more for water activities (remember you will also need to have a life jacket); - Have navigation and map interpretation skills, as well as experience in outdoor activities; - Be physically fit and able to deal with the demands of the event; - Always be properly equipped; - Be able to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) to your companions and other people in emergency situations during outdoor activities; - Minimize the impact on the environment during the event, respecting the space and citizens; - Be responsible for yourself and your belongings; - Be prepared to follow the rules and conditions provided (with final details subject to adaptation), including the list of mandatory equipment for expedition, per member and per team; - Register your team using the form provided by the organization.

1) Confirm your team requirements (and related documents); 2) Register the team and receive confirmation of entry via email. 3) Send the organization the plane tickets as soon as possible, to Oporto/Portugal airport. 4) Confirm your interest in the transfer to and from the airport, according to the program/schedule to be provided by the organization. 5) Train and be happy to be part of a unique and unrepeatable experience.

From the moment of your registration, followed by the following moments in Portugal: 1) Transfer of teams and their luggage to the departure city; 2) Accommodation; 3) Preparation, verification and delivery of equipment to the organization; 4) Interviews and photos; 5) Welcome Ceremony; 6) Team Briefing; 7) Start of expedition; 8) End of expedition; 9) Accommodation; 10) Organization and delivery of luggage for international teams for transfer to the airport, according to the established program/schedule; 11) Lunch and team awards; 12) Return of teams to their origin, including transfer to the airport for international teams, according to the established program/schedule.

Depending on the assessment of the situation, the organization will be available with its resources, during the event, to help the element and the team. a) The participant will be welcomed and supported, presenting solutions to make the most of the remaining time at the event and in Portugal; b) The team may continue in the competition if it has 3 members, not counting towards the main ranking. It may also be suggested to regroup with members of another team to maximize the experience.

1) Your team will be able to continue if you can comply with safety rules. 2) The organization will provide instructions and suggestions so that your team can enjoy the route to the fullest and comply with the defined logistics plan. 3) Because it does not reach all CP, it will be part of a secondary ranking.

In the morning, teams entitled to transfer to the airport must hand over their equipment and personal luggage to the organization's logistics department, as well as the two support boxes provided by the organization. At the end of the morning, there will be a lunch to share experiences during the event, as well as viewing some of the best moments. It will also be time to offer some souvenirs and prizes. After lunch, teams entitled to transfer will be transferred to the airport. The rest can take advantage of an extra program, extending their stay for one more night, with the right to transfer to the airport after lunch the following day (Sept 9th).
